Job Description and Duties

On an assigned shift, directs and/or provides for thecare, treatment, and training of clients following established standards andprocedures. Guide and organize assigned staff on a shift in providing active treatmentservices to ensure implementation of Individual Program Plans. Communicate andcollaborate with staff to carry out the facility's mission, goals, andobjectives. Direct all routine nursing activities of assigned staff and providefor total nursing care during the assigned shift. Maintain a safe, sanitary,therapeutic and professional environment that promotes respect and dignity andprotects privacy, rights, confidentially and physical/emotional well being ofall clients. Participate in quality assurance and quality improvementprocesses. Facilitate and monitor compliance with Federal, State, and facilitystandards of clients' treatment and care. Facilitate the scheduling,orientation, coaching, training, counseling, and performance evaluation of assignedpersonnel. Participate in staff development training programs and attendtraining as required. Must possess and maintain sufficientstrength, agility, endurance, and sensory ability to perform the dutiescontained in this duty statement. Will be required to work weekends and Holidays.
