    Description

    Key Job Responsibilities

    The buyer will play a key role in upholding consistency and creating understanding within our procurement process. This includes analyzing material requirement planning (MRP) reports, reviewing demand requirements, and ordering component parts to meet production schedules.

    In this role, you will also work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and improve lead times. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects with engineering teams by providing technical input on component design and material selection.

    What We're Looking For

    • Bachelor's degree in business, supply management, or engineering; or Associate's Degree with two years related experience
    1. Able to communicate effectively with vendors to negotiate overall best pricing and set performance standards
    2. Ability to lead consensus-driven discussions among cross-functional cost savings teams
    3. Able to read blueprints and proficiently operate engineering software as necessary
