    In this role, you'll apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities. Our Northeast Water business is growing, and we're seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Buffalo, NY.

    This position offers a variety of work, including assisting with technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates, and permits; leading workshop presentations with clients on technical advancements of project studies and designs; developing project delivery strategies and job management plans; supporting pricing estimating, scoping, and marketing strategies for new clients and projects; coordinating CAD team in developing design and construction documents; conducting field investigations and condition assessments to identify process needs and solutions; and coordinating communication pertaining to technical and contract project issues and client meetings.

    To succeed in this role, you will need:
    • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
    • Registered NYS Professional Engineer or ability to obtain it
    • At least 4-7 years of municipal water experience including experience in the state of New York; prior water and wastewater design experience with local municipalities a plus
    • Stormwater design and MS4 planning a plus
