    Normal Work Schedule:
    Varied schedule; must be able to work weekdays, nights, weekends, some holidays, and some overtime.


    Job Summary:
    The Custodian performs routine manual work in housekeeping and cleaning of interior spaces and immediate exterior areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, polishes and dusts furniture, and cleans restrooms, windows, blinds, mirrors, etc. in buildings across campus.


    Additional Department Summary:
    Must be able to work independently and prioritize assigned tasks including setting up event rooms with equipment and furniture, performing all tasks associated with cleaning the building, performing light maintenance to the building, and helping to secure the building as needed.


    Required Minimum Qualifications:
    Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.


    Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds consistently, with or without accommodation. Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and/or holidays.


    Skills and Knowledge:
    Ability to compose, send, and receive email. Ability to operate and use a smartphone for business purposes.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience in venue or event set up.
