- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in various subjects.
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided.
- Valid New York state licensure as a Special Education Teacher.
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
- Strong munication and collaboration skills.
