Vaco Finance is seeking a Director of Accounting with REIT industry experience to lead our clients Accounting Department. The Accounting Director will manage the Monthly Accounting Close for its Industrial Portfolio, including Lease Administration, Tax filings, and Budget & Forecasting. MRI or Yardi software are a must have. Their office is located near Brick, NJ and has some amazing perks such as Free Lunch twice per week and Early Close Fridays. Please apply within.

Director of Accounting

Location: near Brick, NJ (In-Office)

Salary: approx. $175-190k + Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Manage a Small Team
  
• Manage REIT Administration Processes for an Industrial Portfolio
  
• Manage Lease Administration including:
  • Rent Runs
    
  • Property Openings, Terminations, and Expirations
    
  • Full Lease Interpretation
    
  • Lease Amendments and Renewals
    
• Assists with Budget and Forecasting
  
• Perform Tax Filings and Sales & Use Taxes
  
• Perform Lease Audits
  

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• At least 7-10 yrs. of REIT or Property Management experience
• Yardi or MRI Software experience, required
• Advanced Excel experience (pivot + vlookups)
• Managed Experience, required
• CPAs preferred
