    Desktop Engineer

    Our client in New York City has an opening for a Desktop Engineer. This is a full time, direct hire role with a very well established company.


    Job Summary:
    Desktop Engineer


    Platform Management:

    • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals across Windows and macOS environments.
    • Deploy and manage iOS devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
    • Configure user profiles, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory.
    • Maintain and update device software and applications.
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on all platforms.
    • Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimize downtime.

    Technical Support:

    • Provide firstline and advanced support to users across all platforms.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently and effectively.
    • Document support interactions for future reference and improvement.
    • Train and educate users on new technologies and best practices.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with other IT teams to address complex technical challenges.
    • Maintain clear and concise communication with users and colleagues.
    • Collaborate on developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
