    Job Summary

    The US Visual Merchandising & In-Salon Activation Associate supports Marketing and Retail in effort to increase Salon foot traffic and drive sales, by understanding our target audience's needs and by creating desirability across the US Retail network. This newly created role is responsible for planning and crafting meaningful brand moments that maximize impact for our jewelry and timepiece collections. This role reports to the Senior Manager of US Events, Public Relations, Partnerships & Visual Merchandising, and will support the 13 retail Salons in the US market.

    Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    Visual Merchandising:

    • Evaluate the business, market trends and best practices to strategically craft compelling merchandising displays that is reflective of brand standards and is in compliance with Global directives
    • Grow new client acquisition and increase walk-in traffic by providing impactful, cohesive and consistent brand windows
    • Partner with retail to present a clean selling floor environment that best represents all jewelry and timepiece collections, and allows for tasteful groupings to encourage meaningful storytelling across the retail network
    • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional internal departments including Marketing, Events, Media, Merchandise Planning, Creative Services, Facilities, Operations, Security, Retail Sales & Support
    • Manage the full year campaign calendar and create designated Salon planograms for all window animation roll outs
    • Ensure all Salons are properly supported with signage, VM, display forms, etc. for events, rotations and in-salon use
    • Partner with Retail teams to make sure floral guidelines are being adhered to, and support campaign specific directives
    • Project manage the interior and exterior holiday décor program for all 13 US Retail Salons, inclusive of installation, dismantle and contractual agreements with external vendors
    • Manage the creative calendar and cadence for all exterior façade and in-salon artwork. Select creative imagery and handle all production and installation
    • Provide VM material and directive for all US Events – both in-salon and offsite
    • Support the Events team on the inventory, refurbishment and transport of the branded event vitrines
    • Ensure Salons are adhering to Global VM Guidelines, request photographs of set up and merchandising
    • Manage the VM Budget and process all necessary invoices and charge backs from the Global team
    • Quarterly reports for merchandising review and feedback
    • Quarterly reports for competitor analysis

    In-Salon Activation:

    • Partner with Retail teams to devise an in-salon client experience standard that is systemically delivered and continuously elevates level of excellence for all clientele
    • Work closely with Salon leaders and sales teams with in-salon client treatment initiatives and ensure that proper programs are in place to build and further grow relationships and enhance the in-salon experience
    • Lead all in-salon activations that support marketing specific initiatives and campaigns. Create necessary briefs and work with internal and external partners on the execution, installation and dismantle of these special projects
    • Leverage in-salon activations and client treatment opportunities as a key part of the client development strategy
    • Curate an in-salon reception program for retail markets based on peak traffic periods, holidays and special events
    • Manage the high jewelry collection rotation schedule, and partner with designated retail teams to support product displays
    • Ideate with Salon Leaders and internal teams to specially craft programs from concept to completion that will ultimately drive sales and provide clients with an elevated in-salon moment

    Job Qualifications

    • Possess a minimum of three years experience in the luxury retail category
    • Experience with strategic planning, visual presentation & merchandising strategies
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
    • Ability to interpret creative concepts, direction and feedback
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume and high visibility environment
    • Takes a proactive yet collaborative approach, with strong problem-solving skills
    • Enjoys working in a team oriented environment
    • Existing Relationships with production vendors
    • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Understanding of production methods and techniques for seamless and timely execution
    • Bachelor's Degree in Visual Merchandising and Marketing related field
    • Ability to travel when required
