    Shifts:
    In general we offer 8 shifts for our CNA/CMA positions. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions.

    Days: 6am-2:30 pm

    Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm

    Nights: 10pm-6:30am

    Role:


    We are seeking a dedicated Life Services Coordinator - CMA at Memory care to join our Maggie's Place Memory Care team The Life Services Coordinator - CMA is responsible for cultivating an environment that maximizes each residents independence.

    The Life Services Coordinator - CMA is responsible for delivering assistance with personal care, medications, social and recreational activities, meals, and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of tenants.


    Responsibilities:
    The CMA provides resident assistance with grooming and dressing guidance, bathing, and medication assistance
    The CMA reviews the Staff 24-Hour Communication log and corresponding Tenant Service Notes on a daily basis
    The CMA prepares and serves meals and snacks, followed by clean-up
    The CMA maintains kitchen cleanliness.
    The CMA makes beds and change linens.
    The CMA facilitates laundry service.
    The CMA does housekeeping to include dusting and vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and common spaces
    The CMA maintains activity calendar and engage tenants in activities such as spiritual, educational, games, music, and physical activities
    The CMA provides companionship
    The CMA works effectively with minimal supervision and in a team setting
    The CMA follows safety policies in performing care, assuring resident safety
    The CMA follows and upholds policies and procedures
    The CMA attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned
    The CMA follows infection control guidelines
    The CMA observes residents rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
    The CMA performs all other duties as assigned by the charge nurse and/or Maggie's Place Director


    Qualifications:


    The Life Services Coordinator - The CMA must be able to think, act and intervene independently in both routine and emergency situations.

    He/she must be self-motivated. He/she must have a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally, with the ability to read, write, and understand English.
    Must have 1-2 years previous experience working with individuals with dementia, preferably in a memory care setting. Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
    Valid CMA in state of which applying is preferred.
