    Position SummaryWe are looking for a Computer Technicians to work in our climate controlled state of the art facility to assist us in our effort to bring laptops and other devices to the hands of students across North America.

    The Computer Hardware Technician responsibilities include analyzing and ultimately re-certifying computers, ensuring personal data is wiped from HDD's and performing detailed analysis of the systems they are working on.

    Troubleshooting customers units that come in with warranty work or needs to be repaired.

    Running diagnostics on customers units before and after to make sure units are completely functionalTear down and build up of customer units that come in for repairBrake fix methodologyKnowledge of building PCs/Laptops to customer ordersPerform tasks in a high speed, high volume environmentAbility to meet or exceed daily production goalsMaintain a clean organized 5S working environmentExcellent attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skillsAbility to effectively communicate with teammates and supervisorsAbility to work independently and within a teamMust be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs.

    SolderingSkill RequirementsProven experience working with computer hardwareExcellent attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skillsAbility to accurately add/remove components within a PC/Laptop/ServerAbility to effectively communicate with teammates and supervisorsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plusA+ certification desired, or comparable work experienceShift OpeningsDay - Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pmDay - Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 6 pm
