    Job Summary:
    Under general supervision, responsible for the preparation and coordination of schematic design, design development drawings, construction documents, specifications, construction administration, and preliminary cost estimates for the installation and operation of mechanical and plumbing system components including centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems for renovation and new construction projects

    Job Duties:
    Coordinates and reviews design development drawings for renovation and infrastructure projects.
    Coordinates scope requirements for renovation and infrastructure projects and develops schematic design documents.
    Coordinates and reviews completion of final design drawings.
    Coordinates and supervises field verification of existing conditions.
    Meets with Maintenance and Utilities to verify conditions of existing equipment.
    Performs construction administration coordination and administrative duties.
    Performs all other duties as assigned.


    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required

    Experience:
    Four (4) years of related experience is required.
    Experience in AutoCAD and Revit preferred, not required.


    Additional Licenses and Certifications:
    Professional Engineer licensed by the State of Texas is required

    Supervisory Requirements:
    Supervision of assigned CAD Designer and Engineer in Training (EIT) positions.
