    YOUR ROLE


    Pitted Logistics is searching for a talented and dedicated Fractional General Manager who wants to grow into a full-time role and future career with Pitted Logistics.

    The General Manager will oversee the strategic and operational refinement in preparation for our next stage of growth.

    This will be accomplished through safe, efficient, cost effective, and accurate handling of materials, while also providing training and guidance to our onsite Managers and their teams.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in launching fulfillment centers, and working in a startup environment.

    Specific to Pitted Logistics, this includes product tracking, light product assembly/kitting, order fulfillment, inventory control, problem solving, vehicle and equipment maintenance, regulatory requirements, and training and coaching staff.

    This is an on-site position in North Salt Lake, Utah.
    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE FRACTIONAL GENERAL WAREHOUSE MANAGER


    In a fractional capacity, the primary focus of this role revolves around building non-existent processes, and optimizing existing warehouse operations.

    This includes evaluating team performance, enhancing safety and efficiency measures, fostering a strong company culture, and ultimately positioning Pitted Logistics for its next stage of growth.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Strategically ideate and plan with CEO on proper positioning for Pitted Logistics' next stage of growth.
    Collaborate with the Fractional VP of Sales to understand revenue strategies impacting capacity planning, needs, etc. for warehouse
    Proactively implement plans and analyze outcomes for successful iterations
    Create and oversee operational strategy in accordance with company objectives
    Initiate and drive scaling operations as required by growth of new revenue streams and clients
    Empower Managers and Staff to adhere to a positive safety culture by making safety everyone's job
    Inspire Pitted's culture by overseeing and providing coaching to onsite Managers
    Conduct weekly 1:1s with onsite Managers to build strong relationships, remove blockers and identify solutions
    Establish and track operational KPIs (overall and by client)
    Active and present member of the Leadership Team
    Contributes to weekly planning discussions, goal setting and strategic initiatives
    Provides necessary reporting
    Coaching onsite Managers on effective

    hiring/interviewing

    strategies for 3PL roles
    Develop processes to maintain an efficient and safe warehouse
    Create

    daily/weekly/monthly

    priorities for departments, depending on business needs and provide direction for Managers and Staff to effectively execute
    Develop strong and lasting relationships with Vendors to for effective vendor management and communications
    Develop strong and lasting relationship with temporary staffing agencies in collaboration and partnership with HR
    Develop strong partnership with HR team prevent, plan and promote
    Weekly meeting with CS team


    JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    Must be Eligible to work in the United States

    Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
    Ability and willingness work to work side by side with the warehouse team

    Ability to navigate technology to schedule deliveries and manage inventory

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    Experience managing a warehouse with DTC order fulfillment or 3PL
    Experience managing a large team
    Experience reporting to executive leadership
    Experience creating, tracking, and improving KPIs
    Experience creating SOPs
    Forklift certified (preferred)
    Bilingual Spanish and English preferred


    WORKING CONDITIONS:
    Position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairsand ladders; sit, stand, lift, bend, stoop, crawl andkneel. Required to operate heavy machinery and equipment according to safety guidelines. Occasionally reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing are required. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air or other transportation for business purposes.
    Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds.

    Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
    Must report to work unimpaired.
    Regular and predictable attendance is required.
