    ZCorum is a pioneer in providing managed services and award-winning diagnostics solutions to Internet Service Providers across the globe. This is a direct hire position. ZCorum is based in Alpharetta, GA .This position is currently working remotely to observe safety measures due to COVID-19. Once we resume normal business protocols (date TBD), the candidate will be required to come to the office each day. Must be authorized to work in the U.S./Sponsorship is not available.

    Skills & Requirements:

    ZCorum is seeking an Advanced Network Engineer who will be responsible for the use of applied technical knowledge and practical experience to resolve network issues. Looking for a motivated team-oriented and collaborative player that can get projects to completion as well as work independently. Excellent communication skills are expected as the role will require the ability to translate technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences.

    The successful candidate will be involved in:

    Ø Project Management

    Ø Problem Solving

    Ø LAN & WAN Knowledge

    Ø Networking Knowledge

    Ø Network Design and Implementation

    Ø Network Troubleshooting

    Ø Network Hardware Configuration

    Ø Network Performance Tuning

    Ø Customer Relations

    Ø Netconf/Yang

    Knowledge of the following network protocols would be desirable:

    · FTTX

    · TR69

    · Routing

    · MPLS

    · VPN (L2/L3)

    · Multicast

    · IPV6

    · DHCP

    · DNS

    Skilled in configuration and operation of:

    · Nokia

    · Juniper

    · Cisco

    · Calix

    · Casa

    · Adtran

    · Commscope (Arris) systems.

    Responsibilities include:

    · Design, Setup and deploy all types of ISP networks including but not limited to Fiber, Broadband and Wireless solutions.

    · The configuration and setup of Systems such as DHCP, ACS, DNS, as well as provisioning systems to be used for DOCSIS, EPON, GPON, etc.

    · Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.

    · Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.

    · Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.

    · Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

    · Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

    · Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects.
