    Job Title: Graphic Arts Specialist
    Location: New York, NY
    Job Duration: 13 weeks

    Summary:
    The Test and Trace Corps is seeking a talented Graphics Designer to join its in-house Communications Team in New York City. The Communications Team plays a vital role in developing and executing a comprehensive communications and media relations strategy aimed at educating New Yorkers about the Test and Trace Corps' efforts to minimize the transmission of COVID-19. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to create innovative and engaging visual content across various platforms.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Graphics Designer will be responsible for:

    • Collaborating with the Communications Manager to develop creative solutions aligned with brand strategy and business objectives.
    • Maintaining the integrity and excellence of the Test and Trace Corps brand in all communications.
    • Independently executing creative assignments across digital, print, and environmental mediums.
    • Managing project workflow and creative resourcing in consultation with the T2 Communications team.
    • Innovating creative processes and workflows to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to deadlines and budgets.
    • Presenting creative work to Test and Trace Corps leadership, senior staff, and the Communications team.
    • Performing other communications-related duties as assigned.

    Knowledgeable In:

    • Graphic design principles.
    • Page design and layout techniques.
    • Developing creative content for digital and print channels.
    • PC and/or OS operating systems.
    • Adobe suite of programs, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
    • Microsoft Office suite.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse digital and print work.
    • Proven ability to collaborate with internal departments and external partners.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and social media communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
    • Considerate and respectful of colleagues in a collaborative setting.
