    Job Description:

    In this role, the Clinical Support Specialist has the responsibility to work cooperatively with other administrative and clinical staff members to manage client communication and needs, whether on the phone or in person.

    This position has oversight of all processes involving client records from data entry to release of information to archiving.


    Schedule Details:
    Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pmLocation: Reading, PAProgram: Crisis Intervention Program

    Pay Rate:
    $17+/hour

    Job Functions:
    Responsible for answering the intake line during business hoursResponsible for processing all new referrals and securing insurance eligibility verificationsResponsible for the transmittal of referral information to the appropriate person or service within the agencyResponsible for data entry of all referral information in electronic record

    Minimum Requirements:
    Education:High School diploma or equivalentExperience:One year experience in a medical or mental health care office setting or other professional business office setting including customer service and data entryLicensure/Certifications:None RequiredClearances:Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and verification that the employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion listNote: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and ExperienceWhat's in it for you?
