    About The PositionColumbia Sportswear Finance & Accounting teams oversee the financial health and forward strategy for a portfolio of four global brands.

    These teams exercise expertise across Compliance, Credit, Financial Planning and Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement and Strategy.

    Advancing traditional Finance & Accounting functions, the organization is also driving exciting innovation in the application of advanced analytics and automated intelligence.

    Columbia Sportswears eCommerce Financial Analyst supports the Companys growing eCommerce business in North America.

    Leveraging financial planning and analytical skills, this position plays a significant role impacting critical strategic and operational decisions, driving process improvements and leveraging emerging direct to consumer planning technology.

    This position is part of a cross-functional effort that includes our Financial Planning and Analysis and U.S. direct to consumer teams as well as other organizations within the Company.

    In this role you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to support and inform the decision making process.

    You will play a significant role impacting critical strategic and operational decisions, as well as driving process improvements.

    How Youll Make a DifferenceYou will utilize driver-based planning capabilities in support of growing North America eCommerce business planning, forecasting, and reporting needs.

    You will prepare and analyze strategic plans, annual operating plans, and forecast updates for the eCommerce business.
    You will complete timely and insightful financial analysis to assist in evaluating performance against strategic, operating, and budget plans.

    Complete further financial analysis to identify business growth drivers and trends (internal and external).You will develop financial justification for key investment projects (eCommerce marketing ROI, vendor capabilities, headcounts).You will analyze monthly financial results and review conclusions with cost center managers and corporate finance team members.

    You will ensure a thorough monthly review of expense commitments and spending plans resulting in updated SG&A expense and capital expenditure forecasts.

    YOU AREProactive with strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning conceptsExceptional at written and oral communicationsAble to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment, and able to exercise a high degree of professionalism and good judgmentOrganized, able to prioritize projects, and display superior attention to detailFamiliar and proficient using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Access)YOU HAVEBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Engineering or a business-related field (MBA is a plus)1-3 years of professional experience in financial analysis, accounting or another related fieldeCommerce or retail experience is a plusMinimum of 1 year of experience with business systems planning including TM1, SAP, Hyperion Essbase, Microsoft 365, PowerBI and/or CognosMinimum of 1 year of experience in a role presenting financial analysis and recommendations to a business unit leaderColumbia Sportswear Company and our portfolio of brands, including Columbia, SOREL, Mountain Hardwear and prAna, know a thing or two about adventures.
