Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Residential Painter/Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the beautification and upkeep of residential properties through expert painting and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in residential painting, renovation, and general maintenance, with a passion for transforming spaces and ensuring they are functional, safe, and visually appealing. Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure smooth finishes.
Execute residential painting projects using various techniques such as brush, roller, airless spray, and power tools to achieve high-quality results.
Perform maintenance tasks including fixture installation, drywall repair, plastering, stucco application, and trim carpentry to support property upkeep.
Read blueprints and schematics to accurately carry out renovation and remodeling projects aligned with client specifications.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and scaffolding safely to complete construction painting, restoration, and site improvements.
Conduct site inspections to identify repair needs or potential hazards; perform masonry or concrete finishing as required.
Assist with construction estimating and project planning by measuring materials and calculating costs for various projects.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris; adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Extensive experience in residential painting along with knowledge of commercial and industrial painting techniques.
Strong understanding of color theory for selecting appropriate paint schemes that enhance property aesthetics.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, scaffolding, welding equipment, and other construction-related machinery.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for renovation or remodeling projects.
Proficiency in construction estimating, basic math calculations, fixture installation, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, and restoration processes.
Knowledge of construction site safety procedures combined with hands-on experience on various types of construction sites.
Familiarity with schematics related to industrial or commercial painting projects; experience with framing carpentry and concrete finishing is a plus.
Excellent handyman skills including drywall repair, plastering, masonry work, renovation tasks, and maintenance duties.
