    Project Coordinators provide administrative project support for Project Managers and Operations Managers during the execution phase of projects by coordinating with other departments and business functions. Why is the Project Coordinator so important? In this role, your expertise enables Project and Operations Managers to focus on job execution while ensuring the implementation of our core business processes. You are the hub for all projects, ensuring the end goal of customer satisfaction is accomplished by seamless project transitions.

    As a Project Coordinator, you will:

  • Oversee project documentation and scheduling, ensuring proper filing, timely scheduling of project turnover meetings, and comprehensive completion of all closeout checklist items prior to project closure
  • Facilitate procurement processes, handling purchase requests for subcontractor labor, while ensuring seamless coordination of subcontractor paperwork
  • Monitor and manage project costs and time tracking, providing daily updates to the Project Manager on cost variations, and informing the Operations Manager about unsubmitted timesheets
  • Manage financial and billing-related tasks, including notarization of customer-required documents and adjustment of plan costs in SAP as necessary
  • You will make an impact with these qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED
  • Administrative experience or experience within a service industry
  • Experience or knowledge of financial transactions/billing, along with the ability to read and understand contract documentation
  • Experience with Excel, Microsoft Office proficiency, and business software systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Must be a Notary Public OR must obtain a Notary Public designation from the State that this position resides within the first 3 months of employment
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity or experience within any of these industries (or similar construction industry): HVAC, Fire Alarm, Security Systems, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Elevator etc.
