    This is a remote position.

    Position Title: Manager, OSP Construction Project Management

    $82,500 to $137,500 annually DOE

    Job Summary

    The Manager, OSP Construction PMO is accountable for ensuring the quality, timely delivery, and within-budget completion of fiber services for our customers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead an internal OSP Construction PMO team, offering leadership and mentorship through coaching, feedback, and development goals.
    • Accountable for on-time, on-budget delivery of construction projects within scope.
    • Create long- and short-term plans, establish milestones, and adhere to deadlines.
    • Responsible for comprehensive reporting on all programs utilizing software such as Smartsheets and Microsoft Suites.
    • Make effective decisions when faced with multiple project progression options.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to address and remove obstacles.
    • Work closely with customers and government agencies to swiftly resolve concerns.
    • Develop, coordinate, and execute project schedules with various partners.
    • Ensure adherence to company, municipal, and government guidelines by the PMO team and partners.
    • Measure team and project performance utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
    • Ensure quality control reviews and attention to detail.
    • Oversee project closeout documentation.
    • Participate in meetings, including after-hours and weekends when necessary.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of PM/OSP experience, including engineering, splicing, and/or construction.
    • Experience managing capital budgets and large-scale projects.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced industry.
    • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Suites for data analysis and presentation.
    • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Developed leadership skills with the ability to mentor and lead.
    • Capacity to work flexible hours, including weekends to meet deadlines.
    • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Suite and database programs.
    • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
    • Experience in outside plant engineering and/or installation/construction.
    • Strong multitasking and collaboration skills to meet timelines.
    • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to provide superior customer service.
    • Proven capacity to lead and motivate a team in a competitive environment.
    • Professional demeanor and appearance.

    Work Authorization

    Physical Requirements

    The job requires physical capabilities such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds may be necessary. Visual acuity and the ability to operate a motor vehicle safely are required.

    Work Environment

    The role is predominantly office-based, involving computer use and interaction with various systems.
