Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will utilize quantitative analysis and data presentation to gain insights into our business operations.

You will assist in conducting analytics experiments, generating reports, and creating dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools.

Your findings will be used to produce recommendations and validate them through statistical techniques and hypothesis testing.

As a Data Analyst, you will provide valuable insights to our business and product leaders, helping them understand marketplace dynamics, user behaviors, and long-term trends.

You will identify and measure levers that can drive essential metrics and make recommendations based on your analysis. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with engineering teams to implement, document, validate, and monitor our logging system.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a similar domain.

You should also have at least 4 years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or a related quantitative role.

Responsibilities

Utilize quantitative analysis and data presentation to gain insights into our business operations
Assist in conducting analytics experiments, generating reports, and creating dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools
Produce recommendations based on your findings and validate them using statistical techniques and hypothesis testing
Provide insights to business and product leaders to help them understand marketplace dynamics, user behaviors, and long-term trends
Identify and measure levers that can drive essential metrics and make recommendations based on your analysis
Work backwards from understanding and sizing problems to ideating solutions
Report progress against goals by identifying essential metrics and building executive-facing dashboards
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement, document, validate, and monitor our logging system

Requirements

Degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a similar domain
Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or a related quantitative role
