    Job Description:
    General Dynamics Federal Health Sector is actively seeking a Program Analyst to support the Chronic Conditions Warehouse (CCW) Program.

    The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) CCW provides researchers with Medicare and Medicaid beneficiary, claims, and assessment data linked by beneficiaries across the continuum of care.

    Our work depends on a Program Analyst joining our team who


    will be responsible for coordinating health services research requests of varying size and complexity, tracking detailed specifications, performing quality checks on final products, and assisting with pricing estimates.


    HOW A PROGRAM ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
    Coordinate data requests, tracks request specifications, performs quality checks.

    Analyze specification criteria against data products to ensure research requests are delivered as expected.

    Build relationships with researchers and request partners to enhance communication and ensure specifications are complete and accurate.

    Communicate researcher specifications in a format technical analyst can use to extract data.

    Maintain Medicare/Medicaid data documentation.

    Monitor timeliness of data requests.

    Track multiple data program rules, data types and statuses to ensure customers receive accurate data and information.

    Continually assess processes for improvements and efficiencies.

    Serves as resource for internal and external customers and liaison between technical and non-technical staff.

    Works with internal and external customers to answer data-related questions.

    Creates, QAs, and ships data requests on physical media.

    Loads physically received files into the workspace.

    Participate in special projects as required.


    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:


    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in health informatics or related field preferred; plus 2-5 years related contract experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    2+ years' experience working with health services data for quality improvement, reporting or analytic purposes.

    Experience working with data elements, data

    definitions/dictionaries,

    user documentation, and data collection.

    2+ years' experience with project coordination.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including issue resolution, and conflict management.

    Must have analytic capability.

    High proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

    Experience with telecommuting, working from a home office.


    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
    Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid data.

    Experience with order fulfillment and shipping.

    Technical experience working with DVD/CDs and flash drives.

    Ability to coordinate team members and facilitate work.

    Strong time management and organization skills.

    Ability to operate with general direction/minimal supervision.

    Demonstrated ability to produce results.

    Ability to understand technical requirements of applications used in the data dissemination process.
