- Deliver individual short or long term speech/language therapy treatment based on team consensus and IFSP agreements.
- Ensure rights and dignities of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families are respected.
- Adhere to safety programs and policies to create a secure work environment.
- Engage in quality initiatives to enhance team processes and overall improvements.
- Provide essential services in various settings to achieve set goals.
- Conduct multidisciplinary evaluations and communicate effectively with parents and team members.
- Seek guidance from team members on diverse expertise areas to address children's needs effectively.
- Offer support in playgroups and leadership in toddler groups as required.
- Stay updated with licensure requirements and participate in professional development activities.
- Document all activities in compliance with regulations.
- Provide education to parents and team members in the area of expertise.
- Offer supervision and orientation to other therapists on the team.
- Master's degree, ASHA CCC registration, and valid Rhode Island Speech/Language Therapy License are mandatory.
- 2-5 years experience in providing treatment to infants and toddlers in a family-focused setting, along with expertise in special treatment areas.
- Driver's license, safe driving record, and pediatric CPR certification are required.
