    GENERAL: Responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving material, pick-ups, and deliveries using company vehicles.

    WE OFFER:

    Flexible Scheduling. Cross-training in Materials Testing Lab Helping perform analytical procedures/test and logging on a wide range of materials samples including cements, activated carbon, ores, slags ferro alloys, etc.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities): Must have high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. A background in Chemisty or Lab work beneficial.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
    1. Load and unload trucks in a skillful manner to prevent damage to materials or truck.
    2. Operate fork lift trucks and other material handling equipment.
    3. Make pick-ups and deliveries using company vehicles in support of Modern and customer shipping and receiving schedules.
    4. Report any unusual conditions or maintenance required for company vehicles.
    Position Requirements

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must be able to lift 50lb. materials and boxes from the floor to waist on a regular basis, while protecting items from damage.
    • Must be able to bend, kneel, reach and walk across uneven ground frequently when collecting customer samples.
    • Must be able to tolerate a hot or cold work environment depending on the season.
    • Must be able to climb stairs occasionally and get into and out of company vehicles frequently.
    • Must be able to understand and reliably carry out extensive and detailed process instructions.
    • Must be able to retain instructions sufficient to perform repeat tasks successfully and with minimal supervision.
    Work Schedule
    Varies , Day Shift, 2-3 days a week.

    Travel Requirements
    Daytime travel, home every night
