    Your Responsibilities

    We are seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team.

    In this role you will help manage client and industry data, assist in development of new internal data processes, analyze data to support research and development and mentor junior analysts.

    In addition, you will consult with end users on recommendations for new reports and improvements to existing reports.

    By collaborating closely with business partners, you will turn complex data into actionable insights, paving the way for innovative solutions that meet client needs.

    The work done by the data analytics team is fundamental to our success. The analytics team is a fast-paced team that interacts with all areas of the business. This individual must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine internal data processes, expand enterprise analysis methods and visualizations to facilitate data-driven strategic decision-making.
    • Explore aggregated datasets to uncover and support research and development efforts in industry-level trends and insights.
    • Ability to train other analysts and provide on-going technical support for product solutions.
    • Proactively identify data quality issues and recommend data integrity checks to alert users when such issues occur.
    • Innovate, using the latest technology, to deliver information needed to drive business decisions.
    • Customize analytic solutions to align with unique client needs, managing significant aspects of projects with varying complexity.
    • Champion new data processes to enhance the practice's ability to collect and aggregate data at scale.
    • Develop ways to flexibly apply data transformations to meet client needs.
    • Actively engage in working group to expand predictive modeling capabilities.
    • Act as a project manager or technical consultant, guiding project design and execution.
    • Foster engagement within the analytics community, contributing to cross-functional teams and initiatives.
    Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields.
    • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience.
    • Expertise in MS Excel and Microsoft's Power BI Suite (Power BI, PowerQuery, PowerPivot, DAX).
    • High proficiency in R or Python.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Familiarity with SQL.
    • Familiarity with front end development a plus.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present complex information clearly.
    • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information.
    • Legally able to work in the United States.
    • Commercial Property and Casualty insurance experience and / or insurance industry experience is helpful but not required.
