    DOCUMENT PREP CLERK - Incumbent ONLY

    Job Description: Delaware Research Group is searching for a qualified candidate to join our team as an experienced Document Preparation Clerk. The Incumbent Document Preparation Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of engineering routine and an understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the work of the facilities management shop.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Coordinates with the WCS to maintain copies of all property documentation and records and updates the applicable property books with transactions.
    • Maintains complete original records for audit purposes.
    • Keeps track of all assigned work documents and provides up-to-date status to IDIQ Project Manager as requested.
    • Review incoming work requests for completeness and format accuracy.
    • Prints, sorts, and distributes a variety of work documents for use by government agencies or shop personnel.
    • Maintains and files all completed work documents such as work orders as required.
    • Frequently archives, catalogs, and produces engineering related documents, as required.
    • Digitize and catalog hard copy records.
    • Build and maintain document backup system.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:
    • High School diploma or equivalency.
    • Demonstrated skills in using various computer software, including ability to use the Windows operating system as well as common office software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, CAD and/or other civil engineering data management systems.
    • 4 years' clerical experience
    • Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to adapt to changes in technology.
    • Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional & courteous manner in diverse situations.
    • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
    • Familiarity with military-specific facility/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable.
