We are seeking a qualified Housekeeping Supervisor that is highly motivated and can ensure rooms are inviting, comfortable and can work in a team setting.
**Job Description:**
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff, implementing cleaning schedules, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies alongside the Executive Housekeeper. Your attention to detail and leadership skills will contribute to maintaining our reputation for excellence in cleanliness.
**Responsibilities:**
Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
Train new housekeeping employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company standards
Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company standards
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
Address guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Conduct regular meetings with housekeeping staff to provide updates, address concerns, and foster teamwork

**Requirements:**
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in housekeeping or hospitality management is a plus
Proven experience in housekeeping or related field
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Ability to lift, push, pull, more than 10 lbs. often housekeeper carts can weigh more than 30 lbs. or more to push, pull.
Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions.
Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
-Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus his/her cleaning responsibilities, ensuring that each room set up is completed as required by the property.
Ability to maintain a composed, gracious and professional attitude.
Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, days and nights when needed.
