- Possession of a Class B CDL or higher
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years

- Clean driving record
- Familiarity with vehicle safety audits and reporting malfunctions as per Federal and state regulations and company policy
- Efficient route planning and time management skills for smooth delivery experiences
- Clear and open communication
- Knowledge of GPS devices or map applications
- Driving experience within a 50-mile radius of primary location preferred
- Secure and efficient loading and unloading of building materials from the commercial motor vehicle
- Legally and safely navigate to destinations using public and private roads
- Maintain accurate mileage and fuel usage records
- Demonstrates punctuality in deliveries
- Utilizes route planning and optimization techniques
- Adheres to delivery procedures, including photographing each delivery
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all equipment
- Cultivate professional relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct necessary safety audits of the vehicle and report equipment malfunctions promptly as required by regulations and company policies
- Report all accidents and incidents without delay
- Ensure compliance with driver's qualification file updates as stipulated by regulations and company policy
- Utilize downtime effectively
- Maintain the truck in an organized and clean condition
- Verify load accuracy
- Proactively manage job site conditions for upcoming deliveries and communicate effectively
- Provide essential paperwork and scanning for dispatch
- Acquire product knowledge and application for end-users
- Demonstrate understanding of tie-down rules and regulations
- Adhere to weight, height, and length restrictions
- Ensure all transported materials have proper documentation
- Learn best practices for efficient loading, securing, and driving
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 90 lbs.
- Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable sitting for extended periods
- Ability to stoop, bend, and walk as needed
- Starting with 2 weeks of annual leave from day 1, with an additional day accrued every year up to 4 weeks off

Compensation:
Starting at $22 - $27 per hour, depending on experience.
Working Hours:
Monday-Friday starting around 6 am, wrapping up after all daily loads have been delivered.
