As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and accurate machining of parts according to engineering specifications.

Machine Setup and Operation:
Set up and calibrate CNC machines based on job specifications.
Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure product accuracy.


Programming:
Interpret and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, and CNC programs.
Collaborate with programmers and engineers to optimize machining processes.


Quality Control:
Conduct regular quality checks on machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
Identify and address deviations from specifications, making necessary adjustments.


Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues promptly.


Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Comply with industry regulations and company policies.


Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and tool changes.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.


salary:
$55,000 - $65,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesCNC Machining: Proficient in setting up and operating CNC machines for precise and accurate production.
Experience with programming CNC machines using G-code and CAD/CAM software.
In-depth knowledge of tool selection, fixture setup, and quality control procedures.


Plastic Machine Operations:
Skilled in the setup and operation of plastic injection molding machines.
Familiarity with various types of plastics and their specific processing requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plastic molding processes.


Precision Measurement:
Accurate use of calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure product quality.
Understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation.


Safety Compliance:
Strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.


Quality Control:
Proven ability to perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and improve production processes.
