    Job Title: Extrusion Maintenance Mechanic

    Welcome to our company! Here's what we're looking for:

    Job Summary:

    Join our team working in custom profile plastic extrusion as a maintenance mechanic. You'll be hands-on repairing various production machines like extruders, saws, and more. If you're great at troubleshooting, mechanically inclined, and know your way around industrial electricity and pneumatics, we want you. Experience with PLC's, CMMS software, and manufacturing environments is a big plus.

    Essential Functions Extrusion Maintenance (2nd Shift):

    • Repair and maintain physical structures, buildings, and grounds.
    • Paint, perform masonry work, and handle plumbing fixtures.
    • Maintain tools, equipment, and low voltage electrical systems.
    • Install and maintain electrical conduit, water, and air lines.
    • Handle appliances, fixtures, and equipment installations.
    • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools.
    • Follow detailed instructions and complete necessary reports.
    • Assist higher level mechanics and perform assigned duties.
    • Request assistance for problems beyond your expertise.

    Secondary Functions Extrusion Maintenance (2nd Shift):

    • Support Injection molding maintenance.
    • Participate in various plant projects involving Injection Molding.

    Performance Measures:

    • Work independently and collaboratively.
    • Accept responsibility and follow instructions.
    • Adhere to safety requirements.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    • Full-time, Monday to Friday; Shift: 2nd (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm)
    • Overtime as dictated by production needs and projects.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Three to five years of maintenance trades experience beneficial.
    • Industrial electrical knowledge/experience necessary.
    • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers preferred.
    • Pneumatic knowledge is a plus.

    Skills:

    • Effective English communication skills.
    • Basic math proficiency.
    • Ability to read measuring instruments.

    Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations:

    • Mechanical certificate preferred.
    • Industrial electrical certificate preferred.
    • PLC certificate preferred.
    • Hydraulic/pneumatic certificate preferred.

    Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

    • Able to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
    • Work in a production setting with physical demands.
    • Perform tasks on concrete floors.
    • Exposed to manufacturing environment elements.
