    This is a hands-on and challenging role working closely with various personnel throughout the Company, ensuring intercompany activity is properly recorded while maintaining the data integrity of the processes and controls.

    The candidate must have the ability to multitask and prioritize under a deadline-oriented environment for an operation which has multiple different entities.

    The position is responsible for preparing and completing monthly intercompany reporting and reconciliations, reviewing daily intercompany loan movements, and providing backup support for the timesheet posting process.

    Functions and Responsibilities
    • Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations and variance analysis.
    • Responsible for intercompany reconciliations and balances between multiple domestic and international trading partners in accordance with REPSOL norms and objectives.
    • Resolve intercompany reconciliation variances. Report variance explanations to head office.
    • Assist with AR/AP Aging. Send monthly report of outstanding invoices to affiliates.
    • Monitor and follow-up on past due invoices. Report outstanding invoices greater than 30 days to management.
    • Perform monthly timesheet, admin/allocation, payroll, supplidos and travel postings monthly as backup support when needed.
    • Support team with annual tariff revaluation process.
    • Review daily/monthly intercompany loan movements between all US entities.
    • Compile and provide intercompany transactions (BE605) for Census Bureau filings.
    • Prepare and provide the intercompany transfer pricing to local tax team annually.
    • Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit requests.
    • Ensure internal control documentation is completed.
    • Assist in automating and streamlining processes related to areas of responsibility.

    Requirements
    • Legally authorized to work in the US for any US employer.
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred. 3+ years of experience working in accounting.
    • SAP experience required.
    • Proficient in Excel including pivot tables.
    • Accounting experience within the energy sector preferred.
