    The Program Specialist will serve an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of the program by providing support with arranging intakes, tracking outcomes, and ensuring the program has the supplies necessary to operate.

    Essential responsibilities will include managing and prioritizing referrals while maintaining a working relationship with referral sources and providing ongoing support to Program Director, Program Staff, and referral sources as needed.

    Applicants must have a high school diploma required. An associates degree is preferred.

    Additional skills will include excellent written and verbal communication skills and abilities and be able to communicate appropriately and effectively in sensitive and/or demanding situations.

    Must demonstrate the ability to professionally represent Volunteers of America, and effectively interact with multi-cultural and diverse populations.
