- Design and implement robust, automated workflows for processing and analyzing diverse data types.
- Optimize data pipelines to improve efficiency, scalability, and reproducibility.
- Leverage high-performance computing (HPC) or cloud resources to handle large datasets and complex analyses.
- Data Analysis and Modeling
- Clean, structure, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning models to identify patterns and extract insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine predictive models tailored to research goals. Feature Engineering and Innovation
- Develop novel approaches for feature extraction, combining domain expertise with computational methods.
- Engineer actionable features from raw data to enhance the performance of predictive models.

- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.
- Strong foundation in machine learning, data modeling, and statistical analysis.
- Must have experience with bioinformatics, transcriptomics, proteomic and metabolic integration
- Familiarity with handling complex datasets from experimental or scientific contexts.

Data Scientist
Position Summary
SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Data Scientist to support our Aberdeen Research Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications of Data Scientist Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science related field and 2+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.
