    Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer

    Job Duties: Provide thought leadership to the rest of the development team and mentor junior staff members. Collaborate with Scrum Master in determining the sequence of development execution and own and deliver design artifacts for each sprint. Engage with Product owner and convert business requirements through sprint refinement/backlog grooming sessions defining functional/non-functional user stories. Provide demo of implemented features to business in sprint review sessions and get sign off from business/IT managers for production roll out. Work closely with Principal Engineers, Solution, and Enterprise Architects to ensure strategic solutions aligned with the enterprise reference architecture. Work independently to develop, configure, code, and test programs of varying complexity and scope. Apply knowledge of the latest trends in the industry to upgrade legacy payment applications and engage with other team members to consult and help implement appropriate technology practices and solutions. Ensure implementations are highly scalable, highly available, performant, and secure. Estimate own and, in some cases feature-level work effort for input to project planning. Escalate delays, issues, risks, and highlights to project managers and/or project leads. Telecommute with third party vendors as part of implementing vendor integration projects. Monitor the deployment process after release and ensure the functionalities are working as expected. Postproduction monitoring until the build warranty and support the applications in production by responding to operation calls.

    Job Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related field, followed by five or more years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a Software Engineering-related occupation.

    Position requires: 1) Experience in a technical leadership role for large enterprise-class systems; 2) Java, microservices, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, GIT, and SQL; 3) Agile methodology (Scrum); 4) Containers and container orchestration using Kubernetes; 5) Dynatrace, Elastic Stack, Stonebranch, and MOVEit; 6) Restful API, NGINX, and Couchbase; and 7) Deploying applications in Azure cloud
