- Identifying and implementing advancing innovation novel formulation and process technologies. Using creativity to develop new products, generate new intellectual property, and achieve business targets.
- Possessing strong interpersonal and leader skills. Adept at training and mentoring lab personnel.
- Working independently, taking ownership of tasks, and being able to drive projects to completion.
- Ph.D. in a scientific discipline such as chemistry or chemical engineering, plus a minimum 5 years of practical industrial experience in an R&D function
- Detailed knowledge in colloid chemistry, surface science, polymers, and materials science.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate, generate IP, and implement cutting-edge technologies.
- Self-motivated and innovative candidate with excellent communication skills.
- Makes significant contributions towards the development of novel formulations. Takes ownership of long-term formulation activities (2-3 yrs.) and ensures that products are of excellent quality, can be readily manufactured, and are compliant with regulatory standards.
