    Job Description

    Summary/Objective - Perform all functions related to packaging formed product and the storage/movement of finished products.

    Essential Functions

    · Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.

    · Monitor the production line, watching for problems such as pileups, jams, etc.

    · Ensure lot coding is printed correctly and legibly before casing product.

    · Ensure product information and lot coding is printed correctly on the label or case before palletizing the finished product.

    · Package the product in ordinance with the production specifications.

    · Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.

    · Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items.

    · Stack finished packaged items or wrap protective material around each item and pack the items in cartons or containers.

    · All employees have the responsibility to report food safety problems to their supervisor/lead or someone with authority to initiate action.

    · All employees shall identify any risk of intentional harm to the facility, personnel or products. All employees have the responsibility to report unauthorized persons to their Supervisor/Lead or a Manager who will challenge the individual and/or escort them from the site.

    Competencies

    1. Must bring interpersonal and communication (written and oral in English) skills required to interact with various levels of plant personnel.

    2. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess ability to multi-task.

    3. Ability to operate in a team environment.

    4. Ability to prioritize and meet production goals within specified time constraints.

    5. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

    6. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

    7. Must complete annual trainings: GMP/LOTO/Food Safety/Job specifics

    8. No attendance or behavior issues

    9. Ability to Demonstrate a Teamwork Attitude

    10. Shows progressive performance and productivity

    11. Must remain in position for a minimum of 1 year before promoting or transferring

    Job Type: Full-time

    Schedule:

    • 10 hour shift
    • 8 hour shift
    • Day shift
    • Evening shift
    • Morning shift

    Ability to Relocate:

    • Plano, TX 75074: Relocate before starting work (Required)

    Work Location: In person
