- BSN from an accredited nursing program required
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required

Description
About this position:The surgical coordinators manage the patient flow, staffing, emergency and rapid response events, assist with patient management and upgrading patients as needed, work closely with Bed Management, charge nurses, and the Supplemental Staffing Unit to ensure surgical cases are moved through the system and patients are in the appropriate level of care. The coordinators also manage HR and management concerns overnight and weekends. The Nursing Shift Coordinator is responsible for facilitating delegated administrative and clinical activities for nursing in a functional unit. This person possesses the clinical and management knowledge and ability to provide guidance and assistance to nursing personnel and other health care team members in patient care situations. He/she facilitates interpretation/implementation of policies and standards.
Shift:Full Time (36 hours), Night Shift, Weekends Required
