    (and our associated entities) is a privately-owned Franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) currently operating over 230 VIOC locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Florida and California.

    The Company has grown rapidly and is projecting continued growth moving forward.

    This is a non-exempt, individual contributor position reporting directly to the Associate Director, Human Resources.

    The position is based out of the Company's corporate offices in Newton Highlands, MA, and supports a hybrid (combination office and work from home) work arrangement.


    The HRIS Specialist position has been established based on the organization's continued growth, the rising complexity of HR administration and compliance requirements and the Company's increasing demands for data and analysis in preparation and support of business decision-making needs.

    Ensure maximized use of all HR related technology SAAS systems, currently including KRONOS and UKGPro and
    Maintain up to date and accurate database files and tables.
    Develop custom reports as requested to meet the requests and requirements of Company leadership.
    Set-up business rules, system administration processes and report creation best practices.

    Partner with Human Resources and Benefits management team to ensure system configurations and processes are well integrated and compliant with all applicable wage and hour and labor laws.

    Support Payroll and Benefits team with system and report configuration with intent to promote end user self-sufficiency (including Newly Eligible and Annual Open Enrollment).

    Monitor HRIS systems and run audit reports to confirm processes reflect current departmental policies related to employment, benefits, employment and payroll.

    Create and make available necessary training tools and information to meet end user needs.

    Bring to prompt attention of stakeholders all system related issues and troubleshoot for long term resolution as well as immediate, short term fix.

    Identify HRIS system improvement opportunities for improved accuracy and greater efficiencies.
    Solicit input from stakeholders, build consensus, propose a plan and implement approved HRIS system improvement projects.
    Customer-focused approach including pleasant and clear communication skills; both verbal and written.
    Model the customer service standards of the Company always.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Skills and Competencies

    Expert computer skills with MS Office Applications including Outlook, Word, Excel
    Strong analytic skills, including excellent Cognos / Business Intelligence reporting skills
    Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
    High level of accuracy and attention to detail
    Excellent problem solving/judgement skills
    Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
    Ability to create and maintain positive working relationships through effective communication and collaboration with direct supervisor, peers within and across corporate departments, and organizational leadership
    Complex problem-solving skills / creative and resourceful
    Experience in implementing scalable new systems and introducing processes changes to meet the needs of a rapidly growing organization.

    Education and Experience

    BA/BS in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
    4 or more years of related HRIS experience; preferably with knowledge of distributed retail environments
    Solid knowledge of federal, state and local HR/BEN/PR regulations and processes
    Ongoing HRIS continued education required to maintain technical knowledge/skills
    ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    90% of work in a climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
