- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Conduct account reconciliations and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Assist with audit preparations and interact with auditors as necessary.
- Provide financial guidance and insights to management to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the finance department.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in month-end close accounting.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- CPA certification is a plus.
