Join our team as a Backend Java Developer in Wilmington, DE, where you will play a crucial role in the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of large-scale IT solutions projects, primarily focused on passenger rail transportation systems.

Your expertise in Java, Spring, and cloud-native development will drive the creation of high-performance, reliable applications while adhering to best practices in Agile methodologies and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Analysis and Design Support:
• Participate in client discussions to analyze business requirements and priorities.
• Lead the design, implementation, and documentation of IT solutions projects.
• Conduct detailed business analysis to architect solutions meeting functional and technical requirements.
• Application Development:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy business-critical applications.
• Implement cloud-native, enterprise-level services focusing on high availability and performance.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and provide support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Production Support:
• Monitor and resolve production issues for assigned applications or systems.
• Testing Support:
• Utilize Test Driven Development methodologies to create and execute test plans and cases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and rectify defects ensuring application integrity.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of relevant work experience with strong backend development skills in Java and Spring ecosystem.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in cloud-native development using AWS technologies.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot intricate issues effectively.
