We are currently seeking a full-time *Assistant Restaurant Manager* to join our Redfish Waikiki Team


Job Summary:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a vital role in ensuring an exceptional, high quality food experience for our guests, while also running an efficient, profitable food establishment.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager must observe and enforce all company policies, house rules and guiding principles; must have the ability to work and communicate well with others; receive and provide direction to restaurant staff; and maintain a positive attitude toward the work and company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations
• Perform all duties of the Restaurant Manager in their absence
• Assist with scheduling, training, development and oversight of all restaurant staff
• Maintain product quality standards
• Observe and enforce company standard operating procedures
• Address restaurant staff concerns and stressful situations with urgency, dignity & tact
• Ensure that all restaurant staff personnel are courteous to customers
• Ensure all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
• Take on new assignments with an eager and helpful demeanor.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of proven work experience in restaurant management
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrated effective leadership skills including delegation skills.
• Willingness to be open, to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including weekend and holidays in order to accommodate business levels.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements
• TB Clearance required.

* management in a restaurant setting: 3 years (Preferred)
