    Job Description:

    The staff registered nurse (RN) is a licensed professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for planning, delegating, and coordinating the nursing care of a group of patients during a designated time frame utilizing the John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care, ANA's Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, and the California Nurse Practice Act, Title 22, and Title 16.

    The RN coordinates and provides care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology, in partnership and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members

    Education:
    Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing RequiredExperience:1 year Nursing
    • Perioperative/Surgical Services Required6 Months Nursing
    • Acute Care PreferredCertifications/Licensures:RN Registered Nursing
    • California Board of Nursing
    • RequiredBLS Basic Life Support
    • American Heart Association
    • RequiredClinical Specialty
    • Certification
    • PreferredSkills:Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Effectively motivates teams.


    Preferred candidates will have :
    prior OR RN Experience in a Level II Trauma centerprior Charge RN experienceexperience with EPIC booking surgeries

    Work Shift:
    :4- 07:45 No Waive (United States of America)

    Pay Range:
    $ $112.70HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
    Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.


    Note:

    Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.

    The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
