BUREAU OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH LICENSING (BBHL) ENFORCEMENT INTERN

JOB LOCATION:

Address: 150 N. 18th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85007

Posting Details:

The BBHL Enforcement intern will work with us for 10-20 weeks, committing 15-20 hours weekly.
Start date: Flexible to accommodate your class schedule, enabling work during business hours.
Required Materials: Resume, transcripts, cover letter demonstrating your suitability for the role, and a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Compensation: Commensurate with education and experience.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dedicated intern pursuing a degree, eager to gain practical experience.
Strong written communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
Courses in law, regulatory practices, or health-related fields are advantageous.
This internship provides exposure to administrative law procedures, regulation of licensed providers, enforcement activities, and more.
Duties include reviewing legal notices, organizing case files, tracking enforcement actions, scheduling conferences, and ensuring accurate document management.
Mentorship and guidance will be provided by the BBHL Bureau Chief and Deputy Chief alongside collaborative group projects.
