    Encore Talent is seeking a SQL Developer to support the delivery of technical solutions, focusing on data processing/management, process automation, SQL database management, and consolidated reporting. This position requires an individual with a strong analytical mindset, proficient in SQL programming, and adept at working with diverse datasets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain automated processes and SQL procedures to streamline operations.
    • Collaborate with actuaries to identify and resolve production errors, as well as conduct ad-hoc analysis.
    • Utilize SQL and other programming languages to navigate, perform calculations, analyze, and manipulate data effectively.
    • Create batch jobs to extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into various destinations.
    • Develop ad hoc and quarterly Excel spreadsheets using advanced functions and VBA macros.
    • Produce processes, data analytics, and reports to support strategic business decisions.
    • Acquire actuarial, accounting, and product knowledge to enhance job performance.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in information systems, business analytics, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and knowledge of relational database systems.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Willingness to learn new concepts and drive to improve existing processes.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with source control systems such as Git.
    • Experience with SSIS, IBM DataStage, or similar ETL tools.
    • Proficiency in Python and Windows batch programming.
    • Understanding of financial statements.
    • 2 -3 years of experience in a similar role.
