    Responsibilities:

    As an Outside Plant Engineer I, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of wireline telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop, maintain and manage detailed project plans
    • Drive your projects through all phases of construction, including scheduling, budgets, and resource management
    • Complete job site walkouts and facilitate project meetings
    • Meet deadlines as set by the customer while maintaining a high level of quality

    Entry Level training provided to enhance what you may know. Good position for field installers or others with some very basic knowledge of Cable/Fiber plant or design and looking for a different path.

    Qualifications:

    About You:

    • Some demonstrable experience in telecom wireline construction industry or related experience is preferred.
    • COMCAST plant familiarity is a plus, equivalent experience is welcomed.
    • Willingness to learn basic design of telecom Aerial and Underground Outside Plant Infrastructure
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required and the ability to learn custom software
    • Ability to track, prioritize, and complete multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work with others in a Team environment.
    • Must be able to read and understand coax and fiber design prints
    • Strong computer skills with emphasis on applications are required
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work with others in a Team environment
    • You enjoy problem-solving and like to troubleshoot problems as they arise
