    About the Job:
    This position will

    beresponsiblefor

    the

    research

    and development of new electric forklift systems and components

    with a focus on electrical and embedded systems

    .

    The ideal candidate will be an energetic person that

    has experience in taking development projects from concept to production.

    Position Responsibilities:
    Spearhead

    electrical and embedded system

    development projects

    with

    the goal of creating the next generation of material handling vehicles

    and features
    Integrate new controllers, sensors, and electro-mechanical functions into vehicle architectures

    , serving as the embedded system subject matter expert for the development team
    Design and construct prototypes to test feasibility and functionality of advanced technology developments
    Debug and test embedded systems using tools such as JTAG,

    multimeters

    , and oscilloscopes
    Author design documentation, project update presentations, and other material to support product decisions and justification for future development investments
    Required

    Education/


    Experience/Skills:

    Required:

    5

    plus years of embedded systems / firmware

    development experience

    Required:
    Proficiency

    in e

    mbedded C programming

    Required:
    Proficiency

    in Python or other similar scripting languages

    Required:
    Bachelors in Electrical

    / Electrical & Computer engineering o

    Preferred:

    Experience in

    vehicle based

    systems (material handling, construction, agriculture, or automotive)

    Preferred:

    Experience with vehicle communication (CAN and associated analysis tools)
