Job Title: Bartender Job Description To deliver prompt and amiable customer service consistently, and maintain a high standard, spotless bar at the picturesque Homestead Resort. Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate their needs, and address any inquiries or requests promptly.
• Possess thorough knowledge of the food and beverage offerings.
• Prepare and serve well-mixed drinks promptly to guests and servers.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of various liquors, beers, and wines.
• Utilize upselling techniques to recommend food and beverage items to guests.
• Familiarize yourself with all menu items in food & beverage.
• Monitor stock levels of all bar items in the lobby. Request and replenish essential products and equipment as needed.
• Ensure the bar area is clean, sanitized, and well-organized.
• Verify the age of guests and serve alcoholic beverages only to those of legal drinking age.
• Regulate the alcohol consumption of guests, refraining from serving alcohol to intoxicated individuals.
• Engage with guests and address feedback positively, resolving any service-related issues.
• Clean and reset the bar area after guests leave or drinks are prepared.
• Set up and break down the bar area correctly.
• Maintain professional communication with management, kitchen staff, and serving team members at all times.
• Ensure legal and responsible alcohol service by adhering to all regulations, including checking IDs and monitoring consumption.
• Take orders accurately from guests, record all transactions promptly in the Micros system, manage guest tabs, and process payments efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Upscale Casual or Fine Dining Bartending
• Proficiency in Full Service Bar operations (beer, wine, and liquor)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capable of standing for up to eight hours
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Effective communication skills with guests and colleagues
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Valid and current TIPs certification required
• Valid and current ServSafe certification required
