Automation Control Analyst - Chambersburg, United States - Astronautics
Description
What You Will Do:
We are seeking a Material Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations In this role, you will be responsible for the movement of materials between departments or inter-company locations.
This includes creating and releasing records of material movements within the company and ensuring operations follow company and industry regulations.
You will also be able to collaborate with other departments across the organization.This hybrid on-site role is at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. You will report directly to the Supervisor, Production & Materiel Control.
How You Will Do It:
Review incoming receipts multiple times a day and add required items to the Receiving Inspection Hot List.
Review multiple times a day all material received into stock for back-order requirements and issue picklists to fill demand as required.
Review Material requisitions and issue picklists for materials on hand, create and release purchase requisitions for out-of-stock items, and enter anticipated arrival date in the note field.
Reserve miscellaneous piece parts to customer orders and print picklists to fill demand.
Collaborate with production control on releasing shop orders for spares and MRO demands.
Coordinate inter-company transfers and facilitate material movement between projects.
Process or remove Material Transfer Requisitions (MTR's) to retransfer from job to job within the Planned Netting Group
Enter approved Project Miscellaneous Demands (PMD's)
Review and release purchase requisitions
What We Look For:

Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
A minimum of one year of experience in a material control-related position
Experience with an ERP/MRP system
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong data access and retrieval skills with experience in data analysis
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities on a regular basis
Desired:
An Associate's degree in a business field from an accredited institution
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience with IFS ERP/MRP System
