Metals Benchmark Build Bed Engineering

Lionbridge is seeking a strong Full-time Build Engineering Technician for our team Day shift Applications team in Corvallis, OR.
What you will do:
Operate 3D printing equipment and support equipment.
Perform periodic preventive maintenance, keep equipment clean and serviceable, and keep work area clean.
Record and maintain a historically documented log of failures, repairs and modifications performed on equipment sets.
Follow all SSME safety requirements for design development, building, upgrading and maintaining all equipment sets.
Assist with training on equipment sets to include documentation, theory of operation, daily maintenance, operation and simple troubleshooting.
Participate in the development, creation and coordination of design criteria media, visualizations and documentation as required through renderings, animations, elevations, sections and isometric views.
Prepare scale documentation, 3D models and 2D plans for review by department head, AE, Manager and at times customer for operational consideration.
Participate in development and maintenance of libraries and drawing templates for all accounts in all drawing platforms as required.Support Printer Techs, ATP, AEs, Engineers and management to ensure that all projects have complete and concise support documents.
To be successful you will have:
A strong understanding of 3D printing methods, layouts and designing. Proficiency with AutoDesk, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Material Magics and Netfabb.
Knowledge of Creo usability is a plus.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint, as well as MS Word, MS Access and MS Outlook/Exchange.
Proficiency with visual studio tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Unix, Basic Visual, etc.The ability to remain team-oriented, enthusiastic, creative, well organized, self-motivated and able to easily determine the critical components of the design to meet the problem at hand.
