ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:
A 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday, 7:30a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Must be available to work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of various wastewater treatment plants & lift stations mechanical equipment. Perform maintenance on existing mechanical equipment by troubleshooting and repairing pumps, motors, and blowers and other mechanical equipment. Align various mechanical drives and associated equipment throughout the Utilities Department. Maintain pumping and lift stations, and wastewater treatment plants, equipment, and other wastewater facilities. Improve operations by generating work orders to address discrepancies or conditions and make recommendations. Maintain all required documentation in the currently used work management system. Establish schedules; report all discrepancies which interfere with proper operation of the facility. Maintain mechanical operations by inspecting and evaluating lift stations daily. Participate in field testing, equipment start-up, verification of operating performance, shutdowns and system troubleshooting. Ensure grounds, buildings, and equipment is maintained in a neat and clean condition. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Position requires a High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of related experience. A valid driver's license is required.

Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.

Must be able to obtain a Class B within 6 months of hire.
