    The Superintendent role is pivotal in the commercial construction process, overseeing all aspects of operations to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality.

    This includes coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and project teams to meet project goals and uphold the company's reputation for excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • On-Site Management: Ensure daily construction operations comply with project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards.
    • Subcontractor Coordination: Supervise and direct subcontractors to maintain schedules, manage workflows, and address any issues.
    • Safety Oversight: Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and maintain a clean and secure job site.
    • Schedule and Budget: Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying and addressing potential delays or overruns.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
    • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary on-site representative, regularly updating clients and addressing concerns promptly.
    • Problem-Solving: Identify challenges and implement solutions to ensure seamless project execution.

    Requirements:

    • 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, preferably within NYC.
    • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects, including retail, office, and mixed-use developments.
    • Familiarity with NYC building codes, permits, and inspection processes.
    • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or similar tools.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
